During my stay in Málaga I took some fotos of lighting installations.
One famous place in town is the Teatro Romano de Malaga. Impressive at night, illuminated with ERCO Beamer and ERCO Parscoop (see foto on the right). In front of the old roman theater was installed a street lighting. I suppose this street light wasn’t bright enough, because under the light head two Beamer are mounted. In the Alcazaba I found very old ERCO spotlights, Jilly and Castor.
Of course you could find some luminaires in the Picasso Museum and the birthplace of Picasso at Plaza de la Merced. In the museum I found a strange combination, the old, huge frame projector Stella, using halogen lamps, and next to it the digital ERCO frame projector Pollux. The advantage of the new technology is obvious (smaller size, unobtrusively and light-tight), the advantage in system power could not be seen but imagined. In the birthplace are installed Optec spotlights.
